The ELJ project web site was very old and it has been removed to protect the privacy of the participants
The aims of the project was to
- Design and build a blog hosting site.
The site explored the navigation design principles underpinning web log sites, and experimented with a variety of ways to enter information. Information was uploaded using three different input technologies:a) browser (using an HTML form)
b) WAP – mobile phone
c) Palm PilotThe scripting language used to create the blog was PHP.
- Trial the blog site using students in real learning situations.
They were observed using the Electronic Learning Journal a blog), and then interviewed about their blogging. The findings are included in a Report.
- Propose a scheme for integrating its application in education and training, and into the TAFEVC.
- Consult with course delivery staff across a number of subject areas to ascertain the application of blogs in different teaching contexts.
